Today, the Association of Professional Flight Attendants endorsed Joe Vogel in the race for Maryland's 6th Congressional District.
APFA National President Julie Hedrick shared this in their announcement.
"With great enthusiasm, APFA, representing the 27,000 Flight Attendants of American Airlines, endorses Joe Vogel for Congress. Joe has shown his commitment to standing with workers, from walking the picket line with APFA Flight Attendants to passionately supporting policies that create fairness for working people. We look forward to sending Joe to Washington to continue to fight corporate greed."
Delegate Vogel shared, "I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants. I truly believe in the power of unions to strengthen the middle class, and lift up working Marylanders. I had the privilege of standing with flight attendants who were picketing outside of airports to fight for fairer wages. I will continue to champion legislation that helps workers achieve better collective bargaining rights.
As a state legislator, I've led the fight to support workers on the picket line and when organizing a union, and I will continue to fight to ensure unions always have a seat at the table when I'm the next member of Congress in Maryland's 6th Congressional District."
